Students get to know the industrial enterprises of the “SZEMO”
On December 12, the M. O. Dolivo-Dobrovolsky Training Center as a part of a cooperative project “Introduction to the profession” from GBOU Secondary School No. 348 of the Nevsky district organized an event for 10 8th grade students, which included an excursion to the “Elektromashina” plant, an excursion to the REM and Coil plant and a tea party at the Training Center along with watching a video clip about the design of electric motors.
The guys enthusiastically commented on the tour of the workshops of the factories, they were struck by the size of some engines and the number of their types at various stages of repair, as well as the processes of section production, the molding process seemed especially spectacular. Denis Chevachin, the head of the electric workshop, conducted a tour of “Elektromashina” software, and Roman Romanyuga, a process engineer for the production of “REM and Coil”.
On “REM & Coil” plant, they talked about the specifics of the company's activities for the production of sections of stator and anchor windings – the heart of an electric machine and about the prospects of working in the engineering industry if the guys choose one of our specialties for college or university studies.
Through such actions, teenagers will be able to choose their future profession. They also increase the prestige and interest in engineering and technical specialties.
