Replacing 1/3 of all imports of electronic component bases in the Russian industry.
The share of imports from "unfriendly" countries in the industry of Saint Petersburg, which needs to be replaced, is 29%. Because of the sanctions, the sectors that are most dependent on the electronic component base in the industry, as well as snap-ins and tools, have suffered the most. Now it is necessary to create our own electronic industry and machine tool base.
According to representatives of the city government and business, it will be difficult to achieve this, but it is still possible. To that end, the governments of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast (region) have set up operational headquarters, where they discuss options for getting out of the situation, calculate measures to support enterprises and industries in general.
Today St. Petersburg enterprises are working on real opportunities for the production of the necessary tools. For example, the specialists of the St. Petersburg Rem&Coil plant have created equipment unique for Russia, which, according to its characteristics, can completely replace foreign machines for creating coils of high-voltage electric motors used, among other things, for the production of flour and chemical reagents, for the extraction of coal and other minerals, for oil and gas transportation equipment. The characteristics of the machine are comparable with foreign analogues.
"Previously, high-voltage motors were operated only with the use of foreign machines. Now Russian industrialists have an analogue, which also reduces the cost of operation," Alexander Novikov, General director of the Rem&Coil plant, confirmed.
Of course, it will not be possible to establish the production of all imported products from unfriendly countries that arrived in St. Petersburg earlier, and no one is striving for this. Firstly, more than half of the countries of the world today take a neutral position. Secondly, parallel import is now allowed.
Experts believe that many problems can be solved through the development of internal cooperation, the creation of domestic demand and large state investments in transport infrastructure and energy.
Now there are really a lot of appeals from companies from China, India, Iran and other countries that are ready to occupy the vacant niches of our market. Moreover, the industry of China has recently approached the European level. And if earlier we were focused on European, Japanese and American brands, now we can discover the fact that in other countries the products are not worse, but in some ways even better.
