Reducing the costs for “REM&Coil” clients by using the new "Econom" sections
REM & Coil regularly conducts marketing research among the customers to identify new needs. Based on these results the plant creates or upgrades product lines. After another focus group, the company decided to optimize the client's final cost during the repair and manufacture of a new engine. To achieve this “REM & Coil” offers to consider the "Econom" type of sections of the stator coils.
The option of manufacturing the stator coils "Econom" includes the adjustment of the geometric parameters of the section (reduction of the total and rectilinear lengths of the coil), as well as the reduction of the coil section to 5%. At the same time, the final resistance of the coil does not change, because the reduction in the cross-section of the coil is compensated by a reduction in the average length of the coil.
Before reducing the length of the rectilinear part and the total length of the coils, the gaps between the frontal parts of neighboring coils are calculated in order to prevent complication of the process of laying coils in the stator and their durability.
At the same time, for manufacturing the “Econom” coils the company use modern electrical insulation materials of local production.
The stator coils of the "Econom" type are subject to similar warranty obligations, as well as the standard design of the stator coils sections - 12 months from the date of production. The warranty extends until the coils are installed in the slots. The warranty conditions are specified in the product passport.
It is not allowed to use the "Econom" insulation system in the following cases:.
The number of conductors in the coil is more than 2 in height;.
Electric machines with 2p=2 (3000ob/min);
Electric machines with a rated voltage of 10 kV and a power of over 1000 kW;
Imported electric cars.
