Practical training sessions for students

On the 5th October, representatives of Rem&Coil and Electromashina held practical training sessions for the trainees of the Petersburg Power Engineering Institute of Advanced Training, who are studying in the Electric Motor Maintenance and Repair programme. Our companies cooperate with the institute for more than 10 years. During the pandemic, the number of trainees decreased significantly, for obvious reasons. This group (20 trainees from different regions - Crimea, YNAR, Leningrad Region, Lipetsk Region, Kirov Region and others) is a confirmation that the normal practice of full-time training by representatives of energy companies is being restored.
Georgiy Durnikov, Leading Process Engineer at Rem&Coil, spoke about the specifics of modern production of stator winding sections, while Alexey Smolyakov, Head of the Technical Control Department at Electromashina, spoke about the stages each motor goes through when it comes to repairs. The production colleagues asked many questions and also shared their own experiences, outlining the challenges faced during the operation of electric motors.
All participants in the training exchanged contacts and agreed to continue the communication in order to deal with production issues as well as training issues that arised.
