Passing an external audit from a key client of the “REM&Coil” plant
In October, the “REM & Coil” plant underwent an external audit from one of its key clients “TMH-ELECTROTECH” LLC.
“TMH-ELECTROTECH” is the largest Russian manufacturer of electric machines. The main activity of the company is the production of collector, asynchronous electric motors, as well as aggregates and generators for rolling stock produced by the enterprises of JSC “Transmashholding”. This client conducts external audits for all major contractors whose parts are used in their own production.
The purpose of this audit was to evaluate and analyze production processes in order to obtain objective evidence and maintain confidence in the capabilities of the supplier. Namely, the audit was conducted for compliance with the requirements of regulatory documents, technological instructions, REM and Coil standards, as well as ISO 9001:2015 "Quality Management Systems".
The preparation on our part took about a week and was carried out by the specialists of the Quality Department, the warehouse and directly by the head of production Alexey Bogdanov.
"It’s the first time we are under The TMH audit, but our production is always ready for any external audits. During the revision we showed our production and technological processes, as well as our employees and received positive feedback from the auditors," commented the Head of production, Alexey Bogdanov.
The verification consisted of the following analyzed processes:
- management system (verification of certificates and QMS processes)
- procurement (availability of a procedure for selecting and evaluating suppliers, selection standard);
- entrance control (verification of the procedure for entrance control of purchased products and materials);
- production planning;
- equipment management (verification of documentation and actual execution of the equipment management procedure);
- metrological preparation;
- production of goods;
- product testing;
- work with complaints.
The Commission of Auditors noted the high level of effectiveness of the functioning management system, the company's employees presented objective evidence of continuous improvement of the System.
