International conference on electrical insulation materials: innovations, personnel and production secrets.
On October 2nd, the 15th annual international conference on electrical insulation materials was held by Elinar Group of Companies in Naro-Fominsk. The event brought together over a hundred experts from various regions of Russia and CIS countries.
The participants were the specialists from well-known enterprises such as:
• “REM & Coil” (O.V. Russkikh, Head of Logistics and Supply Department, and S.A. Romanov, Head of Marketing and Sales Department) and “Power Machines” from St. Petersburg,
• Engineering team from ELSIB enterprise in Novosibirsk,
• Employees of Chelyabinsk plant “Russkie Elektricheskiye Dvigateli”,
• Scientists from Moscow Energy Institute (MEI) and All-Russian Research Institute of Electromechanics (VRIEM).Delegates also arrived from abroad including Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
Sergei Alexandrovich Romanov, head of marketing and sales department at Rem&Coil, delivered a speech addressing one of today's most pressing labor market issues—attracting and retaining highly skilled professionals amidst severe workforce shortages.
Participants discussed practical matters concerning enhancing the durability of insulating materials, testing new developments, and training engineering personnel capable of remaining within their professional field despite the attractiveness of IT technologies. Human resource policies were among the central topics of discussion since domestic industrial development is impossible without an influx of talented young professionals.
At the end of the program, attendees took a tour of the production complex in Atepcevo where they could observe the entire process of manufacturing mica paper, from raw material delivery to finished product release. This important part of technological processes is usually hidden from outsiders but organizers decided to demonstrate it to underline the importance of open cooperation and joint search for solutions to common problems.
In conclusion, participants expressed gratitude to the organizers for providing them with opportunities to present and exchange valuable experience. The meeting left a lasting impression and highlighted the need for further interaction towards developing the Russian market of electrical insulation technologies.
