At Skolkovo, Rem&Coil professionals took part in the discussion of the issues related to mining and metallurgical industry innovations.
On April 20-21, the Resource forum PRO Century of Technology was held at the Skolkovo Innovation Center in Moscow. A. G. Novikov, CEO of Rem & Coil and E. Sukhanova, Head of Training Center (these companies are part of the SZEMO Holding) participated in the Forum as experts in spare parts for electric motors in the mining and metallurgical industries.
After international manufacturers withdrew from Russian market in 2022, the country's mining and metallurgical companies began searching for alternative technological solutions. Russian enterprises are interested in modern approaches that allow them to build efficient businesses, the use of effective equipment, the introduction of innovative technologies to enterprises, ways to improve performance by 30% without the need to build new facilities, etc.
As part of six sessions of the forum, discourses were delivered by more than 20 speakers from such companies as Uralmashzavod OAO, Lebedinsky Mining and Processing Plant (MPP), Severstal PAO, MCC EuroChem AO, etc. The participants focused on production processes, adoption of advanced technologies at enterprises, reduction of energy and material consumption, automation, import substitution, and staffing policy.
The participants were provided with a highly topical forum program: real-life cases and tried and tested solutions focused on the introduction of effective equipment and technologies, 2 days of lively discussions and an open space for professional interaction.
The Forum brought together chief executives of several industrial companies which resulted in negotiations related to cooperation matters. Remarkably, the forum was not aiming to give lectures in a strict sense, but rather to help professionals get in an open conversation to discuss topics of interest.
